Mark founded Built Environment Consulting in 2005 after gaining extensive experience with both large and small building services consultancies.

Mark became a Chartered Engineer in 2003 and his knowledge gained on a wide variety of project types allows BEC to provide design services to most market sectors, from residential projects to large multi-million pound student accommodation projects, care homes, education, retail and industrial facilities alike.

Recognising the need to offer a tailored, flexible and cutting edge service to the market place, Mark has become a specialist in understanding the needs of an ever changing and developing construction industry and how M & E consultancy is now placed at the forefront of decision making with the advent of BREEAM, Passivhaus, SBEM, SAP and dynamic thermal modelling techniques.
