New build student development consisting of around 120 student units. The hot water design was based around CHP and central gas fired plant. This allows the building to be electrically heated whilst still being compliant with Part L2A. Ventilation systems are designed around central heat recovery units with constant pressure controls to allow apartment ventilation to work in a constant trickle with boost function when cooking or using sanitary accommodation.

Duties: Full detail design, including site monitoring, SBEM, thermal modelling and EPC.
