Sam, who will be based at BEC’s Nottingham office has 11 years of experience in the building services industry.

BEC delivers projects across a range of sectors including sport and leisure, hotel and education, and provides leading sustainable solutions for the built environment.

In his new role, Sam will be responsible for the design and co-ordination of electrical solutions, small power installations, lighting, fire alarm systems, data and communications and intruder alarms including CCTV and access control for a wide range of projects.

He said: “I am really pleased to have joined BEC at this exciting time of growth. Having the chance to work in the new Nottingham office has allowed me to be part of the development of the business, utilise my experience and further develop myself as an engineer with new developments.

“I’ve had my eye on BEC for a while as it has an impressive and broad portfolio of work, which I’m looking forward to getting involved with.”

Sam, who lives in West Bridgford, is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Derby.

Sam’s appointment comes just four weeks after the appointment of Duane Martin as a senior mechanical design consultant and Richard Wilson as a mechanical design consultant.
