The project was to expand the offices into an existing pitched roof space.

Due to the building being expanded by a considerable proportion the challenge was to design the new services around the existing limited spare capacity. In addition, expanding into an area with very low floor to ceiling height limited the scope for M&E services being installed at high level, so the majority was installed in the eaves.

Duties: Full detail design including thermal modelling and natural ventilation modelling.
